So this hitch is going to be a great way to allow you to carry your hitch mounted accessories, like a bike rack, or even a cargo carrier, for example. And it's going to look pretty good on the back of the Ioniq too. It's really going to blend in and not really affect the appearance.Compared to the other hitch, I do like the look of this one a little bit better, especially the reinforced collar. It just looks a little more put together, in my opinion. more

Hi there, Hyundai owners. Today in your 2020 Hyundai Palisade, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Stealth Hitches hitch system. These are available with either a base hitch option or a tow package hitch option, and this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. Now you're probably wondering, well where is it It's hidden completely behind our bumper and there are different receivers and ball mounts that will insert right here into the bottom. Let's go ahead and head into the shop now so I can get it up on the lift just to make it easier for our camera man to get some visuals of what's going on underneath here. Our attachments simply just push right into place and there is a handle on one side here that when rotated will allow whatever's in there to release and just drop right down. What I really like about it is how easily it is to get your components installed. You simply just line it up, push it in place until it locks it in. more

Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is going sit right below the bumper, but one thing I really like about the each trailer hitch, is that it has that flat black look. So it kind of blends in and it is going to sit back from the edge of the bumper here. So the main thing we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Hyundai Palisade

Hi there, Hyundai owners. Today on your 2020 Hyundai Palisade we're going to be taking a look and showing how to install CURT's Class 3 2" trailer hitch receiver. Your Hyundai Palisade's going to be a very capable vehicle that's going to handle pretty much all the tasks that you're going to want out of it, and so will this hitch. Being a 2" receiver, it's going to accept plenty of accessories, so whether you want to put a bike rack or a cargo carrier in it, you can easily load it up with four bikes or take some of the cargo you would have in your vehicle, put it on a cargo carrier, and free up the inside for more passengers. And since this is plenty substantial as far as its towing capacity, you could also bring a popup camper with you for the weekend, a boat, or even use a trailer to help somebody move. This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. Our crosstube is going to be hidden behind the bumper so you're only going to see the receiver tube here at the back. more

Now many questions our customers ask us is if they're going to be able to put their spare tire back after that hitch is on, and the answer is yes, you won't have any issues at all.Now this is a Class 2 hitch so it's going to have that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. This is going to work perfectly for you, especially if you already have those inch and a quarter accessories. Not to mention, nowadays, quite a few hitch mounted accessories give you the option to both use two inch hitches as well as inch and a quarter hitches. Now the hitch is going to have the half inch sized pin hole. more

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Hyundai Sonata

Hi, I'm Shane with etrailer.com. Today you're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to walk you through the installation on the Draw-Tite class I trailer hitch receiver on your 2011 Hyundai Sonata.Adding a hitch to your vehicle is going to make your vehicle a lot more versatile. It's going to allow you to move cargo from inside the vehicle to the outside. Maybe you're putting on a cargo carrier or maybe a bike rack and you don't want to carry your bikes inside to make more room for your passengers. Another benefit to adding a hitch to your vehicle is when you're loading your cargo carrier or loading your bikes onto the bike rack, if it's on the hitch you're not going to have to have lift it as high. If you had it on a roof rack, that's a lot higher and you're going to have to lift those items to get them either in your cargo carrier or to put your bikes up on the rack. One thing to keep in mind is with this being a class I hitch you're going to be limited to up to a two-bike bike rack, which brings me to the weight capacities. more

It's going to have a really clean appearance to it because that cross tube is going to be completely hidden behind the bumper and all we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out right below the bumper.Since it is a Class Three, it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. It's going to have the most variety of accessories that we can mount up, whether you need to carry a couple of bikes with you, we can put a bike rack in there, maybe tow a trailer, throw a ball mount, or if we're using to get some gear outside of our Tucson, we can put a cargo carrier in there and free up some space. Now the way we're going to mount any of our accessories is the hitch pin hole here on the side. It's going to accept a standard five ace pin and clip. Now these are not included with the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com, along with some locking devices so your accessories can be nice and secure. Now, if you are going to tow a trailer, obviously you need a spot to hook up your safety chains and our connection point's going to be a plate style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. more

Best 2018 Hyundai Tucson Trailer Hitch

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for our 2018 Hyundai Tucson. Our best options here are going to be the Class 3 receivers from CURT and Draw-Tite. While in many ways they're similar, there are a few differences. The major differences between these two are going to be where the safety chains are mounted. On our CURT here they're going to be horizontally mounted and they're going to have larger openings. The larger openings make it easy to still put a chain in even though it is tucked up closer to your bumper. In my opinion, it also looks a little bit nicer than the vertical style on our Draw-Tite. more
